High Wind and Rain

The winds that blew in last night blew all night. My decorations were all over the front yard. The spiral tree is tilted pretty bad and my poor snowman was being blown around. Rudolph was laying down and the white reindeer was in pieces laying on the ground.

This morning didn't seem so bad so I took my time getting ready to hit WalMart. I took Fred out for our second walk and it wasn't looking real good out there. So I got ready and went to WalMart. The lot was pretty full but found a good spot and went at it. It was getting really crowded and this kid was screaming for no reason but to hear herself. I knew I had to get out of the store quick. I managed to get just about everything I needed. The weather had really taken a turn for the worse by then but I got home unloaded took Fred out and headed back in to finish putting things away.

Did 2 loads of laundry which doing at home is not much of a chore. Then we headed out to walk and realized it had rained. So we took a quick walk and came back. A few minutes later it was pouring down rain. Glad I am done and just for walking Fred shouldn't have to leave the house tomorrow as the weather shouldn't be much better. The high tomorrow should be 58. and very damp with more rain.

Hope you have better weather over the weekend.

  1. It was cold in Livingston, so as soon as I got all my paperwork done there, it was time to head south to the coast. I may get some rain over the weekend, but its at least 15 to 20 degrees warmer here. The nights were close to freezing in Livingston. It's still in the 60's here at 10pm.

  2. I'm thinking the outdoor decorations are going to take a beating the next couple of days with the winds coming from California. Glad you avoided the rain drops.

  4. Hi Teri,
Glad you finished all the paper work and moved to warmer climbs. Its funny just the other day I said how wonderful it is to sit out on the porch until 5:30pm and only feel a slight chill. But it will warm up again by next week.
    Enjoy the coast.

    Thanks for stopping in.

    Hi John,

Thanks for coming over to have a read.

    Hello TexCyn,
Well we had to take a few walks in between the rain Fred hates rain. But if it was snow he would be running all over the place, go figure.
Some of the decortations have seen better days anyway so this could be their last year.

Thanks for stopping by for a read.

  7. Hi Phyllis,
The wind seems to be done with us, but not sure about the rain. Right now we have some sun peeking threw the clouds. Its just another winter day in the desert.

    Thanks for stopping by today.

    Hi Jim,
Yes I'm glad Fred stayed dry too. He just was groomed the other day. We are about to take another walk before the rains start up again.

    Happy to see you today.
