Ice Cycles, Hot Water and OH NO!

I woke up about 5:30 am and figured I better walk Fred and hit the shower across the  street since the park is filling up and I notice
more people using them. So  I went in and turned on the heater.
Took Fred home and grabbed my bag I filled up the night before.
Well the heater didn't work. I tried everything. So I jumped in
the shower and dried off as fast as I could to keep from growing
ice cycles. On my way out I put the eater outside so they might
know something was wrong.

After a while I saw the folks who clean up and I went to explain about the heater. Of course it started to work. :(

I then went to check out a trailer for sale down the hill. I even
commented that it was a tight space to pull out of when
something was parked in front of the other trailer. So I pulled
back into the space and began to back up. I thought I had made
it. BUT no I started to look at something in front of me and
WHACK! I hit the darn truck that was there. Of course he had
those big iron roll bar looking grills so no damage was done to the plumbing company truck. But my poor little car now has
a broken lens cover and a very large dimple on the side. The
guy was coming out of the house with a big hot water heater.
He came down and he apologized and felt bad that I hit him. He even told me to order  the part from Checkers or Auto Zone because it would be cheaper than a dealer. I am not going to
put in a claim since  I don't think it will be over $500. to fix the damage.

But on the bright side I know have hot water. Thank you Sir.

I don't think I will be leaving the RV Park for the next few days as
this town is under siege do to the holiday weekend.

  1. Sorry for you little accident. it sure is an easy way to mess up a day. Glad to hear you are back in the hot water business. Public shower houses are not a lot of fun.

  2. Good morning John,
Teri's world had a good post yesterday so I stuck to her words.
Yes public showers are no fun. It sure was soooo nice to have my hot shower in my own bathroom.

    Thanks for coming by.

  3. Nothing like having to share a shower stall with a bunch of strangers!

Glad you are back in business with your own hot water!

  4. We love COE parks but do not enjoy having to use shower houses. Nothing like a shower in ones own "home". Glad you can enjoy that luxury again.

  5. Hi Jim,
Yes I love having my own shower but he didn't turn it high enough and I think I have to remove the cover to find the settings.
I am so happy you stopped by today. Thank You.
