Met a Friend for lunch

I made a batch of Churchill Cottage cheese Pancakes this
morning to freeze. This was another recipe someone posted
on there blog a while back and they are so good.

After I cleaned up and we went for our walk it was time to meet
up with my friend Bobbie who I haven't seen since last summer.
We had a lot to talk about and it was great to see her again. The
next visit I will go up to Greer and have lunch there. I have
mentioned Greer before and have posted picture last summer.
Greer was caught up in the huge Wallow fire.

After coming home I on worked on the baby blanket for a while.
I decided to BBQ that fresh trout I was given by Liz.
I added 1tsp of frozen orange juice, a few squirts of lemon, a couple of squirts of butter and a chili seasoning with some salt,
wrapped it in foil and put it on the grill. WOW was that ever delicious. I also had a baked potato.
I went over to Liz's for a drink and to thank her for that
wonderful fish. Jeanne is Liz's neighbor so she came over too.
It was a really nice evening and there aren't any mosquito's yet.
We watched the horses grazing in the meadow.

Came home and haven't done much since. After all look at the
 busy day its been.

Some fall hard

OH and I watered the garden too.
Until tomorrow have a great day.

  1. What a neat idea for a fence in that last picture! Garden? well I really didn't plan on one this year... in fact I thought I'd be traveling. But plans change and with all the GMFoods I am glad to spend the summer here and put one in. Please tell me what all you grow in yours? and does your garden last all summer there?

  2. Hi Sunny,
It is a small potted garden. I have never planted one before. But alot of people do here. I have tomato which has flowers, zucchini, eggplant and a sweet red pepper. They all seem to be doing well so we shall see. Good luck with your garden.
    Thanks for stopping in.
