So Little Time

Today was bright sunshine and great temps of 74 degrees.

Took Fred to Mountain Mutts Groomers for a bath and nail
clipping. He was so happy to get so much attention until he
saw me heading for the door. He wasn't quite sure if he liked
that. They said he did great and is very well behaved. He was
so nice and shiny. Fred seems to have allergies and they said
to just use Visine A twice a day and if needed half of a benedril.
Just what I need a stoned dog. But his eye looks better already.

Stopped at my friend Sharon's place to look over some yarn. I
picked some pretty baby yarn and I have started on a blanket
I hope I have enough to make a matching hat. I will add single
rows of solid colors to make the yarn go further.

Then I remembered I had that last load of laundry to wash and
no more excuses. So off to the dreaded laundry I went and got
it done. I sure should be good for at least 2 weeks. If not that
means I need more clothes.

By then I was tired and decided to sit and watch some mindless
TV. Made some dinner. I was closing the curtains when I saw another friend and asked if he wanted his container back and
his dog thought it was time to play with Fred. So we sat on the
porch while the dogs had a blast.

As Rob was leaving I notice the sun set and grabbed the camera.

I wish I could have blocked out more of the wires but
not be tonight.

Good Night All

  1. Nite JoJo, sleep well. From my experiences, benedryl really doesn't knock dogs down like it does us. My vet had me give a puppy two a day (a big puppy) when he had to reset a broken toe just to help keep him calmer. But he didn't stay down long! We gave one to a friends dog once, he only stayed down for an hour. Me? I'm gone for days on the stuff!

  2. Picturing a stoned Fred on his morning walk caused me to laugh out loud. Once you get him hooked we'll have to form a support group.

  3. Hello TexCyn,

I will try that today. Me I won't touch the stuff. He sure isn't happy about the eye drops. But he doesn't fight me or run away. If it doesn't look better by tomorrow I will take him in.
Thanks for adding to the answers. The more people who agree the better I feel.

    Hi John,
Glad you'll be on board for the support group. LOL

Thank you both for stopping by.
