Part 3

I think I can finish up tonight. Didn't do much today.
Sat out and read and neighbors came by to chat.

The weather was a little on the warm side for a while
then the clouds moved in and it cooled down. No rain.

I am fascinated by the way they used what looks like flagstone as shims

This was pretty far back and like I mentioned yesterday it was way to over grown to try and get out there

Lots of pottery shards laying around but we did not remove any.

this is described as a green house but it was just another place you couldn't get to.

As we were driving out these beautiful horses came into view.

It was really hard to get a picture of the colt as they kept it in the middle

And then I go a cut its head off

Well I hope you enjoyed the show.
I am going to try to get a trip to Winslow going
for next week

I want everyone to stay safe this weekend on
the roads.

Good Night All

  1. Great pictures, too bad they don't maintain the sights better.

  2. Hi John,

Really. I don't understand why they allow things to go the way of nothing. They may be falling down but at least maintain the paths. This could be a real money maker for the tribe.

    Good Morning Carolyn,
Yes they are. Their coats are so shiney. The colt's coat s just like it's mother but it had a white patch on the face. Don't know the sex of the colt.

  3. The stonework is so intriguing. Loved the pottery shard, too.

I really hate that the area is not being maintained and preserved better.

Thanks for sharing it with us. :)

  4. Hi tinycamper,
I would have loved to see so much more of it. I can't understand why they don't keep it up.
But you are welcome for sure

  5. I'm impressed that the window is still so plumb and square.
