Cold But Good Day

I kind of hung out this morning waiting for the time to pick up my grand kids at noon.
We tried a few places to go eat but every one who left church had the same ideas we did.
But we found a Chinese place and it was great. We talked about all the things they are
doing in school and all the stuff they are involved in. There mom is doing such a great
job with raising those kids.  They have great manners and just love doing things for you
or anyone. I took them over to my sisters house and she couldn't believe what great kids
they were. Thank You Alexis and Jason. And a big thanks to their mom Missy.

After I dropped them off I came home and jumped into my sweats and walked Fred. But
it was already really cold and we didn't go far.

Hope everyone had a safe and wonderful weekend.

Good Night All

  7. We find that to be true - all restuarants usually full in the hours following Church services.

  9. Your such a great Grandmother to your grandkids. Spending time, listening, and loving them. Some cannot do anything. They sound terrific manners and all.You raised your children well and you will reap all the loving from those grandkids and it will be a big source of love & pride. I don't do organized religion finding it isolating and judgmental and too much on giving money. Volunteering for the hungry battered and poor takes a lot of my time and my hubbs too. We are getting snow in the pacific northwest today, ice and crappy condition, hubbs is retired, me I take a bus and it always runs, I get a ride from my hubbs to the bus stop and he picks me up. But the snow is bitter cold and we won't be seeing it disapate soon. happy new year, love your blog, read it daily!

  10. Thank You for your nice comments on my grandkids. These children are being raised by my ex-daughter in law who is one of the greatest. I do not go to church but the kids do so I pick them up there as they live quite far out of town right now. I love and respect her so very much. She is doing a fantastic job.
    Thank you for reading.
