Chore Day

Today was cool and breezy.  Not windy just breezy.

Today was the dreaded laundry day. The bed needed to be
stripped which included the comforter. For some reason the
blanket wouldn't dry and had to put more money in. Very
annoying and expensive. These are the times I really miss
my own washer and dryer.

Finally got to take a shower after all the wash was done.
And we went for a walk all around.

I had gotten a prescription for a nose spray because of
my allergies and of course I left it home. With all this wind
it has kicked into high crud. I put a call into my Dr's office
and with in 1hr I got a call from Walgreen's that it was ready.
In Tucson your lucky to get it the same day.

While out on a walk I noticed these birds feeding in front
of the office where Terry feeds the birds and ducks. Of
course I didn't have my camera so we headed home for it.
No luck. On our next walk I heard it's chirping and was
glad to have the camera.

It is a Red-wing Blackbird

Also have seen a Western bluebird but
he was sure in a hurry. Think it is time
to put out the hummer feeders.

Good Night All

  3. Good morning Carolyn,
Takening pictures so far away to keep the birds from flying off is not easy. Maybe the camera fairy will pay me a visit. ahha

    Hi John,
I wish the wind would die down for a few weeks at least give us a chance to clear up.

  6. I don't know if it really works, but I saw if you put a dry towel in the dryer with your items, it cuts down on the drying time. Not sure if it would work with a comforter though. It's been awhile since I've seen a red wing blackbird! Used to see them in Galveston county, but not where I am now.
