Great Recipe!

This morning was sunny and warmer than usual at 5:30 am.
It seems like I have a short somewhere in my car as the brake lights come on and off,
while the car is just sitting parked no engine running. Will have to get that checked out
tomorrow.

I put together the Crock Pot Honey Mustard Chicken today and it was soooo good.
I will post the recipe but wanted to add my idea about this.
It calls for  a whole chicken, for me that is to much so I used 3 skinless boneless breasts.
In my opinion if your using a whole chicken you don't need olive oil as chicken will have
fat in it and then you will have way to much unnecessary grease. And it also calls for
butter. To me that was over kill for a low diet recipe. So that will be left up to you in
preparing this dish. I also added garlic, and chopped onion. The chicken was very tender
and just broke apart with a fork. I froze 2 portions.

Crock – Pot Honey Mustard Chicken

3 Boneless chicken breasts or whole chicken

1/3 cup grainy mustard (I used Frenches hot mustard)

1/3 cup honey

1/3 olive oil

¼ cup butter softened

Place chicken in slow cooker, in small bowl whisk together ingredients,
save some for later. Pour over chicken. Set cooker for 6 hrs. on high or 8 hrs.
on low.
When done pour remaining sauce over chicken before serving.

Lucy came by today and fixed the dump hose as it was always falling off
the rack. I had used a drain gutter last year, but it kept falling off and of
course I lost my temper and didn't bother again. It is done right now.
Also the decking was to close to the end of the stairs which could be a
hazard.  So all is fixed. Thank You as always  Lucy!
Good Night All

  1. All my recipes begin with 'set your microwave at' so all this kitchen talk is pretty much wasted on me, but it does sound good.

  4. Good morning John,

LOL I know you have said that before. I guess with so many varities on the market you can't get tired of those meals. But it sure did smell good and taste good.

    Hi Carolyn,

Crock Pot cooking is so easy. And the meals are soo good.

    Hello Judy,

You will not be sorry Judy. It smelled so good and the taste was wonderful. The park manager thought the smell was from the Restaurant across the street.

  5. Those crock pots seem perfect for RVers. Just throw stuff in, turn it on, and off later.

  6. Hi Trouble,

I love the Crock Pot. This one has time and temp settings and turns off automatically. I love it, picked it up at Big Lots a couple years ago. I use it all the time and even use one in Tucson. I wish the one in Tucson had these same functions. So I just right down what time I started and figure on turn off time. I have a small and the larger size in both places.
