We Put It Up

After having my coffee I took off to get the truck washed.
Made breakfast and fed Fred.

I called Lucy and she came over to help set up the tent.
It went up kind of easy. A few mistakes were made but easy enough to fix. I left it up so maybe it would stretch out a
little. I'll take it down tomorrow as I have some errands to
run.

As you can see there is lots of room. The circle you see
straight ahead goes through to the truck.

I figured out how to raise the back of the tent but didn't take
another picture. It's all in the straps, can't make them to tight

I put the cot in there so I could see how much room there
was. I was pleased. I also have a rug and some cheap
padding for the floor.

Had to let Fred check it out.

I don't think he was very impressed.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend.

Good Night All

  1. That is so cool and I'm sure it will work better than a PT Cruiser. Fred's ready to hit the road.

  4. Hello Nomad,

I think we will go to Scott's Reservoir. Might have to wait a week weather not looking so good this week.

    Hi Trouble,

    Thank you.

  5. Camping in that, you don't have to wait to good weather comes! After all, you won't be sleeping on the ground!

  6. Hi Jim,

Reveiws were good for rain staying out and it has been really windy so it passed that test. And not sleeping on the ground is a real good point. Not that I would anyway. :)

  7. Fred says "where's the beef". After all, aren't you supposed to have beef jerky with camping too? Looks cozy. Will look really cozy once you really set it up for camping. I like the escape hole too, just in case you ever have to!
