Just as Lucy was getting ready to get underway it started to thunder a little. But it quit and only a few drops of rain fell. Very few. I know this awning is going to help now that there is shade over the slide and windows. Lucy did a great job. And I thank you.
Not much else went on today as I stayed in with the a/c on all day and read. We just did the necessary walks.
May have to pull the ends a little tighter in a few days to keep it from blowing over to far and take out the wrinkles. All can be removed at the end of summer and be stored away.
Around 5:30 I caught the sun trying to burn it's way through the clouds
Good Night All
I hope the awning makes a nice difference for you, Jo.
ReplyDeleteYour photos of the sun burning through the clouds are nice!
hope the awning works too! love the sun and clouds picture ... well everything tiny c said... lol
ReplyDeletewhy are we celebrating today? have I missed something.. June 28th???
Hi tinycamper,
ReplyDeleteThe sun was so awesome looking. I think the awning will help some.
Hello Carolyn,
No I ment the 4th celebration on Monday. Even if it isn't the the 4th that day. Or am I ahead of the game. Wouldn't be the first time.
I thought that's what you meant but that's next week.... Thursday... wow... time's a flittin' !
DeleteLooks like you've done a good job of adding shade. Hope it helps the e bill.
ReplyDeleteAs hot as it has been I am value any shade that can be found. We had a pretty good thunder and lightning display over Mingus Mountain yesterday late afternoon. I always hate to see that since a fire would not be anything any of us want.
ReplyDeleteStay as cool as possible. I am hiding inside with the a/c roaring.
Hi John,
ReplyDeleteEven if it helps a little it will be better. I hate to even have to see the bill this month. But I am turning on my a/c nice and early.
Hello JMD,
The dry lightening and thunder can really start some bad fires and boy we don't want that.
Smart move to stay in and keep cool.
Any shade helps. And we're actually getting a front in tonite, cooling us off about 10* for the next week.
ReplyDeleteHi Trouble,
ReplyDeleteLucky you. We won't see anything like that for about a week. :(
Been thinking about you when I hear the weather predictions out your way. Here in NJ it is nothing but rain, rain, rain. Never remember having so many T storms when we lived in this area.
ReplyDeleteHello Phyllis,
ReplyDeleteWe are praying for rain here. It is very dry and very warm. Did a few things and then closed up the trailer and turned on the a/c. They said possible thunder and rain in late morning and early afternoon. Will that has passed and the sun is shining brightly.
