It was nice this morning. Opened all the windows and the door. But it soon got warm and uncomfortable because of the humidity. I sat out for a while but then remembered I had to run to the store to pick up some things for the BBQ and some salad fixings. Also needed to mail a letter.
When I got home I tried to sit outside again while the house cooled down. I figured it was time to water the plants since the rains have not come. I also decided to wash the windows. Yes I am nuts. But after all that yellow pollen and then the cotton from the cottonwood trees they were a mess. I swear by that Windex wand thing. No ladder and no drying. I am very happy now that the windows are cleaned.
While I was using the hose Fred the chicken hearted was under the trailer hiding. As I was putting the hose away I saw the guy down the rd. walking his dog. Well Fred decided to follow them. This guy new darn well Fred should not have been following him and he just let him like he didn't see him. I realized he was missing and figured out that's where he went. What the hell is wrong with some people is beyond me. They are selling their trailer and I hope its soon.
Spent the rest of the day indoors reading and little else.
It is still humid but cooled down some. Took a nice cool shower and that sure felt great.
Good Night All
cool showers do help in this weather. hope the humidity lowers for you.
ReplyDeleteWash the windows and water the plans, you've almost single handily have guaranteed rain in the nest few days.
ReplyDeleteGood morning Cyn,
ReplyDeleteI slept good too. But the humidity is here for awhile since it's monsoon season. Come on Rain!
Hi John,
I have one more thing to do and that would be to wash the truck. Then it should rain. Maybe I'll do that today.
I look at my dirty windows and think about washing them, but it never goes any further than that. Even at 9 am it's just too darn hot!
ReplyDeleteHi Gypsy,
ReplyDeleteWelcome to my madness!
I can't believe how hot it is up here too. Another day to do nothing but stay indoors and read.
On the heat index I am at MISERY. So hot.
ReplyDeleteHi JMD,
ReplyDeleteIt has cooled down some here but boy the humidity is high. It's not a dry heat anymore.
