Really Nice Day

When we did our first out this morning it was actually really nice out. It was cool and no humidity.

After a cup of coffee I went out and swept down some of the porch. It is really nasty and I will use the shop vac and then maybe hose it down. Fred loves the porch.

I took a shower and went out to the bank and the new MVD place down the road to get a duplicate title for the trailer. Had the truck washed and stopped at Safeway for the things I couldn't find at Wally's.

Stopped at my sisters house for a few minutes and then came home. It was starting to get very warm.

Put more things away and did some laundry. Funny when you have a washer and dryer at your figure tips it isn't the dreaded laundry anymore. And I don't have to feed it quarters to work.

Around 6 pm Fred and I took a nice long walk.

So a pleasant day it was. Better enjoy them while I can cause the heat is on its way. Maybe next Wed. I will go to Casa Grande to check out the Capri Campers.

Good Night All

  3. Do you think I might mail my laundry to you every couple of weeks. Then it wouldn't be mt 'dreaded' laundry any more.

  4. It sure makes a difference having a washer and dryer right there.

I feel the same way about using camp showers. It is such a chore to me to bundle up soap, shampoo, wash cloth, towel, clean clothes, dry socks, etc. I usually forget something essential. But I do so love taking a shower in my little Casita!

I am so excited about your camper. Hope it works out soon. I know you do, too! :)

  5. Hey Lucy,
Me too! Next Wed. looks good but we know how fast that weather changes. Good fishing, say hi to Steve and Terry for me.

    Hi Carolyn,

Yes nice and relaxed glad to be coming to the end of mess an dust.

    Hi John,

Weelllll I would hate to see your laundry get lost in the mail. And I don't know if you could afford my prices. But if you want to give it a try it would be $20. a load and I don't iron or do windows.

    Hello Sharon,

Yes the camp showers can be a pain but it sure is nice to be able to get that clean. I don't want anything that has holding tanks anymore so it will be solar showers in a privacy tent or camp showers for me.

  6. I, too, dislike using campground showers but I have gotten used to doing laundry in their facilities.

Which reminds me, sitting here in Camp Driveway at daughters, time to go in her house and throw things from washer to dryer.

  7. Hi Phyllis,

Wearing shower shoes is a pain in the neck but keeping your feet out their floors is a must in my book.

I always tried to be right there and ready when the laundry room was unlocked makes for less of a challenge.
