We are back into triple digits again!
The old awning is down and tomorrow the new one will be
up by 11:30am. This has been quite a job to take it down.
It was so poorly constructed and dangerous. I will post all
the pictures tomorrow from the before down to
the new one up and done.
I went to Home Depot this morning to get my 3 step ladder
I couldn't wait to get home and out of the heat. I was going
to do the grocery shopping but it was to hot and with no
awning the sun was beating right down on the driveway. So
I just ran to Safeway to pick up some Boca Burgers for
dinner. If it is just as hot tomorrow I will wait to go on Friday
morning and leave early Sat. for the Mountains and out of
this heat. Of course I may not have Internet so if you don't
hear from me you'll know why.

ReplyDeleteI just have a few steps to my car, under the car port, so I can hurry into car, or house later, no time to get too hot. I park close at the stores and do the same. This is TX, so yeah, it stays hot for a long time.

ReplyDeleteYes and this it Tucson and it stays pretty hot here too. Even under the car port it is stinkin hot.
I'll be looking for pics of the new awning! It should be nice!
