We sat at the bird feeding center at Santa Rita Lodge. We sat there for quite sometime enjoying the gentle cool breeze. Then drove up little higher. We headed back down as I wanted to check out the little camp ground there. There isn't any electric or water hook ups but I don't need them anyway. Since I have the Access card it would only cost $5. a night and it is a 14 day stay. The sites aren't to large but are paved and there are bear storage boxes at each site, grills, and tables. Some had fire pits. We notice some water faucets around but don't know if it is potable.
This picture was taken at dawn from my porch
Wild flowers growing along the side of the road everywhere
Wild Turkey
Mexican Jay
Lesser Goldfinch
Acorn Woodpecker
Black Chinned Hummingbird
Little Deer just munching away on the side of the road. We didn't
bother her in the least.
I know it's hard to see but this is a Dusky-capped Flycatcher or Rufous-winged Sparrow
Oh for that bigger camera.
Good Night All
Sounds like a fun day in the hills communing with nature.
