Feeling a Little Better

I felt a little less pain today. Lots of swelling has gone down. But still get that stinging hot feeling above the toes and the lower ankle.
I see little spots in those areas that could be bites. But who knows.

I decided to try and drive so I just went down to the mail boxes as I knew it was over flowing with junk mail. I just took it nice and slow and did OK, but still came right home. Took Fred for some walks and went a little further. As soon as I came back I put ice packs on.

My sister was going to the  .99 store for veggies and fruit so she picked me up some salad fixings and some fruit. She had 3 bags and spent $10.  I was really happy to have the salad fixings and for lunch had a great salad. And she even bought a quart of milk.

I am going to go to the Wally World Grocery tomorrow as it is less than a mile from here and pick up a few more things. I have a larger list but I don't want to venture that far to the big store.

Also have a guy coming to turn on the furnace and drain the hot water heater and re wrap the water pipe that leaked over the summer as the guy who fixed it forgot to put the tubing back on.

I brought out the Santa I am going to paint. I checked my paint supplies and I need some extra colors. I'll just start with what I have and worry about the other colors later.

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend.

Good Night All

  1. You're doing a lot for someone who might have been stung by a tarantula or a scorpion! It probably takes your mind off the pain though.

  3. Hi Gypsy,

If it was a scorpion I would have known the instant I got stung, I have been before. And a Tarantula doesn't have poison not the ones we have but they can make a nice a hole. But yes doing things that keep the mind busy helps a lot.

    Good Morning John,

Yes I am glad too. Thanks

  5. Gout attacks are brought on by what you eat, most of the time. Might check that.

  7. Glad you got GOOD medical care and that URGENT doesn't mean "right away" anymore. Lord help us all.

If it had been fire ants, you'd look like you'd been attacked with a fork. I always worry when someone in a white lab coat says they don't know WHAT it is, but give me something for it.

  8. Hello lotta joy and welcome to my blog.
I have saved you to my favorites and will try and catch up soon.

I can't wait to see my own Dr. this week sometime hopefully Tues. While getting better it isn't fast enough to suit me. I'm not a patient person. :)
