A New Piece Of Camping Equipment

Last night I received a text that my order was ready for pick up at Walmart. So I drove on over this morning and picked it up and did just a very little shopping. No I didn't get a picture of it. I didn't take it out of the box.  But they are calling for high winds again tomorrow so maybe I'll bring it in and set it up. Yes it will fit in my living room. It is just a privacy tent for taking showers. I need one more item and then I should be set.

I am having lunch with my friend from Greer Monday and we will talk about me boondocking on her place up there. Once in awhile. From Greer it isn't much further to NM so I will go there too. I'm really getting anxious to get going but I have some time yet to wait.
I usually get hitch itch around this time of year. And since I didn't do much camping over the winter I really am ready to go. But still looking to go to Madera Canyon either the end of March or beginning of April for a few days. Want to make sure everything works the way I want it too before heading out for a few months.

I'll post some pictures tomorrow night

Good Night All

  1. If I get to go west, again, I'm going to buy one of those shower tents. Glad you're getting out to camp. Let us know how setting the little tent up and how it goes on the road. Pats to Fred.

  2. Will you be using a solar shower? I'll be interested to hear how it works out. Also, do you set it up in grass, on pavement or gravel, or does it matter? Do some campgrounds frown on their use?

  5. Hello Nancy,

This is one of those easy to put up tents. I'll put it together today and take pictures for tonight. My friends used theirs by putting it up next to the outdoor trailer shower. This one doesn't have a place to hang a solar shower bag but I will be using something else. I'll also post pictures of it tonight.

    Hi Gypsy,

It all depends on where you are for the set up. Years ago I bought those black rubber matts that go together like a puzzle and never used them so I will put those on the ground and set the tent over them. I don't think regular camp grounds would mind them and if your staying long enough boondocking it would be fine. RV Parks never lol But I will not being staying at them. Yes on the solar shower. I have the bag but I also have the sprayer can I'll post tonight.

    Hi Jim,

I can always sing by and pick your up.

    Hello Sondra,

I can't wait to get going. The excitement just keeps building. The tent will be a great addition especially for boondocking .
