Storm Warnings!

It was a strange morning. It looked like fog but not sure it was. Humidity was high again and it was 81 degrees. Went around the back to water my plant and fill the bird bath with water. We walked down the driveway and talked to some neighbors walking their dogs. Fred had a great time saying hi to everyone.

Back in the house I gave him his treat and I poured my coffee. Wanted to sit out for a while but it just turned really nasty quick.

Spent the day piddling around still moving things and doing laundry.

I turned on the TV around 1:45 and there were storm warnings of thunder and high winds with lots of rain and flooding. Soon the wind picked up and the thunder rolled and it was dark. It cooled down really nice but that was it. Not a drop of rain and the thunder and wind stopped. Maybe it stormed in another part of town but not here.

Turned off the TV and read Sherlock Homes, The Hound of the Baskervilles. Not a bad book for $1.99 on Kindle. I'll see what else I have not read yet tonight.

When we were kids we used to burn these to keep away mosquito's back at the Jersey Shore.

You now how I want to be sitting on that bench again

Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Good Night All

  1. Too bad you didn't get some rain, but at least it cooled down. The heat in Sacramento has really been oppressive today and will continue for about a week. Don't know if I can take it.

  3. My friend in Tombstone said they had some heavy rains there today. She was quite thankful.

  4. Hello Gypsy,

I only went out so Fred could go out but he was quick to do his business and run right back for the door. Been a long hot week here.

    Good Morning John,

    Yes they are.

    Hi Phyllis,

Glad they got some rain up that way. We had some good rain for a few days and now nothing again.
