They Said It Wouldn't Happen

The mornings are darker now but when Fred has to go he has to go. Guess it's time to dig out the flash light.

It was cloudy but then cleared up. Went off to my apt. It was hot but humidity wasn't all that bad. They said it wouldn't rain for at least 72 hrs. Then the weather report came on and they showed pouring down rain looking west on Irvington Rd. I didn't see any rain. Then started to hear some rumbling and a look outside to see very dark clouds. But no rain.

Fred and I went out and I took the trash out to the street. One of the neighbors was walking her dog and Fred was happy. But she doesn't like Fred and tries to back away as far as she can. I told Fred to get back on the driveway and he did, but looked so sad.

About 20 min. ago the storm moved in and it sure did rain hard. Had some good lightening and thunder with it. But I think it's over now. I lied it's raining again. Don't mind at all as they say this week will mark the end of monsoons so we will take all we can get.

Then we should start seeing a slight drop in the temps.

Good Night All

  1. WE had a small amount of rain and the temps were manageable. Thank goodness. Got the hair cut and hooray, both sides are the same length. :-)
