Wouldn't Take It

The sunrise this morning was so gorgeous and no I didn't run out to take a picture. :(

Had a text from my friend Lucy today to let me know she was home from the mountain.  So of course we headed to China Buffet.

We had so much to catch up on and talked till our jaws hurt.

I was telling her about the little Casita and he dropped the price by $1,000.  So we headed over to see it. HAHAHHA  This guy is nuts. People have been leaving him their opinion all over his 2 very large signs.  one of the back windows was broken out and you can see all the windows leak as the caulking has dried out. It reeked of mold, the toilet was missing, the ceiling rug is all falling down and several things were broken including the door  hinges which were badly bent. who knows if the tanks are any good. I called him and offered him $500. he wouldn't take it.
Lucy and I could fix pretty much all of it but not if I have to pay him $3,000. The longer he leaves it out there the worse it will get and I am surprised they haven't towed it away already.

I would not have put the carpet back but insulate the walls and then cover them with something else. But to bad so sad. Next

After we had a good laugh over that we went to our favorite store Dollar Tree. And headed home.

It was a fun day.

Good Night All

  1. If he continues to leave is sit out he will eventually have to pay some one to haul it off for salvage.

  2. I tired for a couple months to get a guy to take $400 for a trailer he had no title for! All the original stuff had been ripped out and no bathroom at all...it had been used for storage so he said... He had it priced for $600 to be used as storage without a title...so he said--he told me he would rather set it on fire than take $400. Can you believe that? How much would a new Casita in that length and configuration cost... you could extrapolate the depreciation and come up with an offer that he may take.

  3. I am with you Jo, I try to never over-pay for items. Of course sometimes I do but that is my goal.

It was 76 degrees yesterday, really nice except for the mosquitoes that are hungrier than ever. :-(

  4. Good Morning John,

I told him that so it will be his loss to just leave it there. Fool!

    Hi Sondra,

Some people are just plain ignorant.. And then the ones who think they can make a women believe their stories and get them to buy their trash. I'll wait until I see it posted again and give him another call. Casita's are not cheap but this is a total gut job and If he would have played the game I might have gone up to 750.

    Hi JMD,

Like I said some men, think women don't know what their talking about when it comes to this stuff.

Haven't spent to much time out near the mosquitoes lairs but I bet they would love a visit from me too.
