Came home and showed him his new bed and he liked that too.
Then it was off to the vet for blood work. He didn't like that at all. But he did loose 3 lbs and they were happy about that. So he got a nice treat of some kind of dried something. Boy did that make him happy. He dropped it shortly after I pulled out of the parking lot and whined all the way home. He was very happy to be home and took his new toy and treats to his man cave and took a nice nap.
I sat here for a while and knew I had to go shopping and get the truck washed still. So I made myself get a move on. The car wash was packed so no way was I waiting for that. Moved on to Walmart and did my shopping.
Found a pretty peach colored yarn for the baby blanket.
They didn't have very many nice squash today but did find some things I can put together.
Here is the recipe for the Cauliflower Mash
I did not have the cream cheese but it was fine without it But I did use 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
Cauliflower Mash
Ingredients
1 tbs cream
cheese softened
½ tsp garlic
1/8 tsp.
veggie broth
1/8 tsp
pepper
½ chives
3 tbs butter or margarine
Prep
Boil water,
while waiting cut up cauliflower into florets
Put into
boiling water and cook until tender
Drain well
but do not cool line bowl with paper towel to absorb water
Add other
ingredients and blend until smooth
Garnish with
chives and butter.

I feel the pain I sometimes think the cat cause me more angst than all the kids. He has to go back in next week, the eye is still messed up, I may have to sell a lung for this visit.

Fred loves hiding places. I had this kennel for him when I first got him, since I had no idea what his house behavior would be. He must have been crate trained cause he took right to it and seemed to know it was his place. So it now is in the front spare room that never gets used and it became Fred's man cave. The weather here is getting to hot to fast it was 90 yesterday and I had to turn on the a/c as it was 87 in the house.
