Going Camping!

Today I made plans to go camping finally. Leaving Friday and I'll see how it goes and how long I stay.

My friend Lucy stopped by today and she brought her battery meter and the deep cycle battery is still fully charged. Great! I won't bring much as I am going close to home so if anything is needed I'll just run back to the house. Put the aluminum cans filled with water in the freezer and some bottle water too. Gathered up the gear I will need in the shed. I'll start to load up tomorrow a little at a time. No need to rush.

We discussed the summer plans for the mountains and it may just work out for the summer. Jello is firming up a little. I don't know if I will leave much before mid June but who knows.

Good Night All

  3. Hi JMD,

I hope it won't be to hot. Not going far so if it is I can head home. Wanted to go to Madera but figured it would be packed because of Easter. And I sure hope the snakes stay away never mind the bugs

    Hi Sondra,

Thank you I'm so excited even if it is only to 2 nights. The biggest reason is to see how this new set up works. And wild flowers should be in bloom. I sure hope so we had a really wet winter.

  5. Hi Karen,

Just cut back on things I won't need.Cut back on one to the storage drawers and found a nice small ice chest on wheels, I move the porta potti to the back or the front so I can put a chair up so I have a nice comfortable place to sit in case of rain or even at night. so this will be a trial run and a much needed runaway

  6. Don't tell yourself you can always come back home if you forget something. That's like young kids "camping" in the back yard!

  9. Have a great time, Jo. I'm going to make a concerted effort to read more blogs now that I've got the trailer. I don't know how successful I'll be. I swim and do aerobics 3-4 times per week and have good intentions of reading blogs at night. I wake up and the computer is still on my lap. It will be different once I'm on the road.
