Time For A Break

I need to stop pushing myself now. I certainly have over done it.

I took the donation stuff to the center. Those bags were heavy. At least there was a guy there to take them out of the truck.

Filled up the truck with gas, I see it is creeping up again. Should have filled up last week when it was $1.11 today it was $1.24 but it was still nice to fill up and only cost $16.45, yes I was low.

Then went off to Walmart to do grocery, clothes, printer ink and more frames shopping. Not a cheap shopping trip for sure.

By time I got home I thought I would never get the stuff in the house. My back was screaming at me but good. I managed to put the cold stuff up and that was it. I took a pain pill and sat in my chair for almost the rest of the afternoon.

I then was able to finish putting things away and do a load of wash.
Tomorrow all I will be doing is going to my great granddaughters party at the park. I will bring my camp chair so I can be sure to have a comfortable place to sit.

But I was happy to get the things I needed to get done done. I'll take it slow from now on.

Have a nice weekend and be safe.

Good Night All

  1. Need to start slowing it down just a tad. You don't want to get to the point that you hurt something, right?

  2. Jo, you know that there are always things that need to be done. You shouldn't overdo it - the world won't end if you don't get something done, even something important. Take care of yourself, girl!

  4. Hi Jim my Friend,

Yes it's time to stop and rest up don't won't to end up like last year. So I will take it slow and the rest is light work.

    Hi Gypsy,

Your right and when it comes time to do the blinds I will just have to bite the bullet and higher some one to do that job.

    Hi JMD,

I was excited to get rid of so much stuff. And I'm not done but at least the majority of the stuff is gone. I have a box to go to the trash and I'll have my daughter put out there for me tomorrow.

  6. It's easy to over do it when you're busy and not really feeling any pain, then later BANG it hits you...hope its gone by tomorrow...

  7. Hi Sondra,
Yes that is the problem and I have never been known to stop at the on set, just a little bit more, oh and that needs to be done, etc. So I made sure I took it slow today until it was time for the party. I brought my camping chair and that helped but when it started to hurt I went home. But I was there for a good bit of time.
