The Happy and The Sad

Friday I was able to get together with my granddaughter and the girls finally.

Had been wanting to get together so Jenisis and I could plant some flowers for her to take home in pots. Little Mia was is such a good mood and was being so silly. Mia is a very happy baby. I had run to Lowe's to pick up some flowers before they came to the house. Kind of disappointed in the flowers as I don't think they will last very long since they dure didn't have much of a root system and seemed to just be sitting in the dirt. But I managed to do the best I could to see they will take.

The flowers looked good here but who knows for how long all the ones I bought for my porch didn't last but a week. The one my daughter and granddaughter bought me for mothers day is still looking good inspite of the stinky wind blowing all the flowers off.

But it made Jenisis happy and that's what counts
Miss Mia, such a good baby

Now for the sad. We are having lots of burglaries here again and they are happening in broad day light. My friend ran to the store at

11:30 am and was back home by 12n. First thing she noticed was her gate was opened and then the door. She was worried the dogs may have gotten out, but luckily they were sitting there just looking at her  from the dinning room. She called the Sheriff and waited outside until they came and then did a walk through. Nothing was missing so they think the riot the dogs made and the TV being on they thought better about going in and took off. But it still gives you the creeps to think no one hears or sees anything. It's flat out creepy and sad.

Hope you all have a safe and happy Memorial Day and please lets remember those who fight to keep us free.

Good Night All

  1. The flowers look great and Mia has sure grown a lot. What a cutie. I am not aware of any home burglaries in our subdivision but there is vandalism at time. Grrrrr. Stay locked and safe.

  2. It is so distressing that some people believe what a person has is theirs for the taking. You keep safe.

  3. Hi JMD,

I hope she enjoys them for at least a week. Kids get bored soon with things. Mia has grown so much so fast.
this is so creepy that these scum have so little fear and are doing this in broad daylight.

    Hi Phyllis,

I have been giving so much thought to selling and moving on, but at this stage of the game and my age I just don't know. But when you can't even run to the store you know they are watching.

  4. When I had my dog I rarely locked my doors, but since she passed away I always lock everything up no matter how long I think I'll be gone, or the time of day. I have never in my life had to live like that, and I hate it.

  7. Hi Gypsy,

I have been locking my doors for quite some time since we had this problem a few years ago and I got hit hard when they got into my shed and my truck. Yes Ihate living like this too.

    Hi Sondra,

It has been going on for a few months now but nobody was reporting it to the neighbors. The neighborhood watch doesn't seem to be doing their job.. Yes I hope they last her for a while.

    Hi Jim my friend,

I am keeping pretty much to the house right now. Fred will let you know when someone is about but he wants to play with everyone. LOL

  8. I'm sure our park in AJ will get hit again this summer. And it seems to be happening everywhere. Very very sad world. Our girls would bark but definitely wouldn't scare anybody off.

  11. Hi Sandie,

Yes these creeps are everywhere. And a sad world it is getting to be. There is no respect taught or it just doesn't sink in.
