I will see my Dr. this week as it is time for the annual physical things. I did labs Friday and I will call in Tues. to set up other apps. I hope we can get everything else done at one time at one location. Such as chest x-rays, mam and what ever else he wants done.
One of my full timer friends pulled in today so we are planning a get together with other friends before she is off rolling down the road again to Q and then Vegas. She was supposed to have cataract surgery and then her insurance said they wouldn't pay for it since it wasn't an emergency ? She has dropped them and will just go with medicare as she is having a problem with vision of course. So after Vegas she will head back to TX. and get this done. I always thought the ins. she had was one of the best, well I guess that isn't the case at all.
I had been telling one of my friends about my little toaster oven that I bought when I had a rig, we know how limited space is so I went on line to check some small appliances out and found this little guy.
As you can see it is now stored in the shed with all the other camping gear. I keep it wrapped up so it stays clean. Sure hope to find something before this summer
Today my great grand son came to breakfast with us today. Why do they have to grow up so fast. No picture was taken. He also is having a constant runny nose poor kid.
After breakfast I stopped at Auto Zone as I need new windshield wipers. I was completely ignored so out the door I went. Won't see me in there again.
The had to stop at Lowe's to get a new porch light and checked out some flowers. I picked one up that attracts butterflies and will plant it tomorrow. They said if you plant now they have a better chance of surviving the summer. Sure hope so.

We've had 2 days of rain sometimes pouring for hours non stop...so dreary. Pollen will be flying next thing we know here too and the sneezing will begin, I usually start sneezing when the pine pollen comes out it covers everything with a yellow coating. I love the cool shape of the toaster oven! Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately its so typical to be ignored by store personnel. I had the same thing happen when I walked up to info desk at Office Max last week. Clerk was on phone. When done talking she walked off leaving me standing there. I well remember the winds out there.

They're were 3 sales people with one customer they took other customers that came in after me. The wind was worse today than yesterday ruined my day.
I had never heard of an insurance company paying for cataract surgery only if it was an emergency...that is not right!

ReplyDeleteShe was stunned, after going thru all the pre stuff and then 2 day before the surgery they said no. This woman never used this ins. in all the years she had it. But I know a lot of Eye Specialist won't take some ins. I learned that right after I had last one done. Righ in the middle of after care they told me they wouldn't use my ins. to finish treatment I would have to pay out of pocket after already paying $250. out of my pocket. I never went back.
I have been so busy these past few days I still haven't planted the first plant, maybe I will get to it tomorrow.
Think of you often, Jo. Don't get on the computer much except for the rare post. I'm glad to see you are still busy. We've had a cold winter, and I'm trying to hide from the flu. People are dropping like flies around here.
ReplyDeleteFebruary means another 6-8 weeks and we'll see spring, again. Glad you enjoyed your friend. Never heard of insurance that wouldn't cover cataracts. :(
