I Know

Not much has been going on.

The temperatures are rising fast  today we met a record of 96 and then by Thur. they will fall to 76. Of course that will only last 2 days and start rising again. But they are calling for some very high winds Thur. and Friday so I will make sure I get everything done tomorrow.

I had my Heating an A/C guy Michael, here last Thur. to shut down the furnace and check over the A/C, cleaned the coils and totally cleaned the unit outside, he also drained off the hot water heater. So know I am good until fall again.

If I ever get to Walmart and buy the butane for my new stove I'll take some pictures and show it. I made the trip last week and bought everything in the store but butane.

Good Night All

    1. Hi MsBelinda,

I really have come to dislike summers and the high heat. We have been at the Mid 90's and I'm not very happy.

A hot water hearter gets lots of lime deposits and who knows what all else so it is good to get it drained off every once in awhile. You don't have to completely drain it just was for what comes out and if it is cleared then you can stop draining it. It will fill back up. Oh and you have to shut the water to the tank while doing this. We have terrible water here.

    2. Thank you for your reply JO. I have never drained any of my water heaters.

Despite the fact that we live in the desert, Del Rio has some of the best water in the state of Texas. We are fortunate to get ours from San Felipe Springs and not the Rio Grande like Ciudad Acuña does.

    1. Hi Sunny,

Today it is so windy they had to close down 2 sections of I-10 due to blowing dust and of course a few accidents. Tomorrow the same but the temp. will drop down to 69.
