I have turned into a stay at home and realized that this is not a good thing. So I force myself to get out almost everyday. Even if it is just to walk around a store. I really feel better that I am getting out. I had plans for today but lots of long winded phone calls stopped me.
So I made an appointment for Fred to go to the groomer at 9 am. When he is done I will bring him home and leave to run to the store.
Sunday, going to go to my daughters house to have a home made breakfast made by my grandson, and to visit with the children. This should be fun. Haven't seen the kids in a while. I hear Arianna is really talking up a storm now and is learning to count pretty high. Jr. is a bright little guy and I love talking to him.
Hoping to maybe do a camping trip as soon as I can get the bed back into the truck. Just hope it doesn't get hot again.
We had a crazy rain storm on Tues. just as I was walking out the door to go pick up my new glasses so I turned around and stayed home. It rained all day with lots of thunder and lightening. But these past 2 days have been really gorgeous and the highs in the low 80's. But Sunday they are calling for low 90's. Lets hope that will be the end of those temps.
Not much else is happening around here.
Good Night All
It is good to get out and about visiting with the family also is always fun. Now camping is also a great way to get out.
ReplyDeleteYou have to keep yourself going just as a way of keeping yourself Healthy. Enjoying Family get-togethers is another great way to keeping yourself active.
ReplyDeleteHopefully your temperatures won't cool down too much as we head in your direction.
Be Safe and Enjoy!
It's about time.
Hi George,
ReplyDeleteYes getting together with the family is always great. But camping is so much fun too. My camera is calling out for some fun pictures in natures best.
Hi Rick and Kathy,
Yes over the summer I hardly leave my house because of the intense heat still hoping to find a small rig of some kind before next summer if not I will just have to get over the small confines of the truck camping shell and get out to the mountains. I think by time you get here the temperatures will be perfect for you.
It's wood cutting time for me, so Im out in the woods, or fields picking up wood. Today we had pouring rain all day I had to shop for food so ended up soaked! Not fun. Hope you can get away I cancelled my One planned trip due to lots of issues...none of which I could control.
ReplyDeleteHi Sondra,
ReplyDeleteSounds pretty soggy for you today. Sorry you had to cancel your trip it would have been good for you. Monday I am going to drop off a bunch of donation stuff which is filling up the back of the truck and then stop at O'Reilly's and have them charge up my deep cycle battery, then reload the camping gear. Of course you know things can change in a heart beat.
May you have a great time with your daughter and her children tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteI hope you get to take your trip to the mountains this year.
Hi MsBelinda,
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately it was canceled.
Going to make and appointment to get the truck checked out so I can take a trip
ReplyDeleteHi Jo - I read on Gypsy's blog this morning that you are looking for a car charger for your phone.
I have been using Belkin car chargers for many years, and they are reliable. Also, you may want to invest in a separate charger block - this is a device that will allow you to recharge your device without being plugged into an outlet. It is like an auxiliary battery.
They come in all sizes. I keep a small one that is the size of a large lipstick in my purse at all times, and carry a larger one in my daypack if we are going to be gone all day.
You will need to have your connector cord for your phone along to use either of these devices. I found it advantageous to just carry an extra cable in my purse, so all the bases are covered.
The portable battery can be charged up at home before you leave on a trip and provides some back up should your device battery need some juice while you are out. You can use the car charger while you are driving.
I've put the URL's for examples below. Sorry they are so messy; I don't know how to make them short on a blog post.
Virtual hugs,
Judie

I love eating what someone else cooks!
ReplyDeleteIt is so true that we who live alone need to get out and be around other people, even if it's just shopping, talking to the cashier, or even just out looking. I don't get out much these days except with the dog (which is better than staying indoors by myself!)
Hi Judie,
ReplyDeleteNo I have a phone charger which also can charges my Kindle, what I need is a charger for my laptop. I had one for my last laptop but will not work for this model. But I appreciate your trying to help me out. I more than likely will go on Amazon to look for these chargers I saw them being used on a couple of the camping Vlogs I have been checking out and the little solar chargers look good too.
Hi Gypsy,
Tomorrow I need to go bring my new glasses back as they do not work for the computer reading, and return a coffee maker I bought for someone who no long needed it as someone beat me to it. So that will be 1 outing so far for this week. But what I really want to accomplish is the walking and moving about.
