Not to busy

Of course Sunday was Breakfast day with my youngest. Then a trip to Burlington still trying to find bathroom rugs and towels for my guest bathroom. So I guess a trip to Walmart tomorrow will have to do, just didn't want to spend a lot of money but Burlington was not cheap either and the stuff was trash.

The weather has been perfect and I was wondering what happened to the cold front they kept talking about. Well I guess the crazy wind today brought it in with a 34 for tonight and tomorrow we are looking at 56 for the high. Then a roller coaster ride of the 60's for all the rest of the week.

I had planned on some outdoor chores today but the wind canceled that out. So I pulled out my floor mate and washed the floors. And cleaned the bathrooms. It takes all day to get things done when you have to keep stopping to catch your breath. It's very annoying.

I took out some ground Italian flavored turkey and took forever for it to defrost so I just took it out of the over. It sure smells good. But I already had some home made veggie soup as the temperature sure did drop fast.

Good Night All

  3. Sooo cold. We're at 39. Ran out of propane in the middle of the night. Had to switch tanks. I'm thinking hamburger soup sounds good for dinner tonight.

    1. Hi Sandie,
Yes it was cold today. Oh running out of propane is not fun. Had it happen to me once in the middle of the night in a little travel trailer not fun. It stayed pretty cold all day so hamburger soup sounds nice.

    1. Hi Sylvia,

Nice to see you here. Yes should be nice tomorrow. Maybe I'll get those weeds sprayed if the wind stays down.

  5. Even cold here in Alabama. 27 this morning. You and I shouldn't complain. If we were back in New Jersey it would be lots worse.

    1. Hi Sondra,

Yikes that's cold for you there isn't it. I had to put some heavy socks on with my winter slippers and my feet are still a little cold. I know you make some great soups and it makes you warm all over, well almost anyway.

  8. I wish I knew your secret for conjuring up energy to be so busy! I guess I'm just lazy and probably won't change at my age. I have chicken vegetable soup in my freezer just waiting for the day when I want some soup!

  9. Hi Rick and Kathy,

Yes the faster Internet sure has been fun. Did have to run out today and it was nippy. And yes came home and had a nice bowl of soup to warm me up. It's going to be nicer tomorrow.

    Hi Gypsy,

I needed to get things under control around here so I really gave myself a push and it keeps me warm to get moving. It's nice to know that there is soup in the freezer for when you want a nice bowl. I still have a few serving size bowls in the freezer.
