This has been a pretty chilly start to Dec. cold nights and then gorgeous days. This coming week we will have night lows in the low 30's and the day time highs will be mid 50's . Out here it gets a little colder since we have more desert than city. But at the rate they are building that may not be the case for much longer. But I am still not going to complain about the cold I'm loving it. And according to this weather forecast looks like cold rain for Christmas.
Toward the end of this week I will finish buying the groceries for the holidays.
I am still missing two orders that should have been in last week. No more Black Friday or Cyber week orders for me. If they can't handle the rush and get the things in on time then stop your sales. I don't care how cheap something is I will never order anything after Dec. 1.
Other than that I have been doing some deep cleaning and I hope to be able to shampoo the carpets but I don't think that is going to happen.

Good Morning Jo! I hope all your orders arrive in time...Its going to be a very lean holiday here but that is fine with me, I did huge gatherings in the past and I just can't do that now it's not in my tolerance zone anymore! Glad I did it when I could.

ReplyDeleteIf it wasn't that everyone helps out it would be to much for me. The last minute food shopping is what gets me and its getting lean around here to. But that's my fault, I used to be done shopping in Oct. know I don't even start until the end of Nov.

I feel sorry for all the people that are experiencing snow, freezing rain, power outages all due to the winter storms.
ReplyDeleteWhile we have been having record breaking temperatures here...Old Man Winter has finally caught up with us. The front just passed and it is COLD outside.
My Walmart Black Friday television set took two weeks to arrive.
I might go pick up some items at the grocery store today or tomorrow it all depends on how packed their parking lot is.
Glad everything is falling in place and you will soon be ready for the Holidays.

Nice that you can enjoy some cooler weather, ordering things on line is nit something we do unless we have no other choice and never any thing on Black friday sales ( so far)

ReplyDeleteYes I will take these cold temps Over the snow and ice any day. We are only in the mid 50's today and I had to go out and clean up Fred's kennel in the shade. The hummers were not happy with me being on their porch near the feeder. LOL Tomorrow more of the same.
The most important deliver finally came this morning now the other one is still out there somewhere and if it doesn't show up in the next couple of days I will cancel and do a refund.
I need to go to the store also but Fred needs to go for a bath but that will be early.I'll see what the parking lot looks like as you said.

One showed up this morning and that one was important. I have been staying home waiting for these deliveries because of these Porch Pirates, even though I live in a gated community (which has no one inside) these creeps come over the 5' wall and have someone waiting to grab what they throw over.

I'm loving these colder temps believe me. I learned my lesson with these orders no more not around Christmas.
