Not Complaining

I haven't been bothered by this self isolated state. As a matter of fact I'm getting projects done that should have been being done right along.
I packed up a box of stemware that hasn't been used in years. Packed up more books and some other items that I haven't used in a long time.

I cleaned up some of the porch and hope to finish that tomorrow.

Watching YouTube is very enterntaining and getting some ideas for making things.

I had to quit cooking as there isn't anymore room in the freezer. So as soon as I finish eating what is already made I will defrost some chicken and the chuck roast and get them cooked, that will give me more room in the freezer.

Lots of cleaning going on also. Of course riding my bike and may put it out on the porch to ride out there and get some fresh air.

We all need to make the best of this. Yes it is bad but we need to just keep looking forward to a better time. As long as people stay home and not mingle with others we will win this battle. Stop panic buying things that aren't necessary so that those in need can get them.

Be safe out there

Good Night All

  1. I have not been bothered by my self-isolation either. I wish I could say I accomplished as much as you but sadly I can not.

What a good idea to put your bike on your porch so you can exercise and get fresh air at the same time.

From what I have been watching on TV I do not think panic buying is going to stop. Well at least in my town the people who lost their jobs can get hired at HEB or Walmart as business is booming due to panic buying.

  2. I'm so frustrated with the folks here in our park. Social distancing does not exist. But most everybody knows how I feel about this and are leaving us alone. They think I'm nuts because so far nobody around here has any symptoms. But as we know, that could change in an instant. Enuf of my rant. Jim is working on projects, I'm reading even though there are lots of projects I should be doing. Hang in there and stay safe.

  3. I would love to work in the yard, mowing. But as soon as it dries up it rains again.

    We will all be fine.

  4. Hi MsBelinda,

The panic buying is insane already. It is still going on and now price gouging is going on in the stores. And they said on the news that it IS legal in this state! Maybe the government here better make some changes to that and stop worring about this stupid wall.

    Hi Sandie,

I am seeing this here in out Park also. And I don't think they have stopped doing any activities. Every one here thinks I'm crazy to and I really don't care. Your right they can become infected in a heart beat it seems. Happy Jim has projects and you have your reading. You also hang in there and stay safe

    Hi Phyllis,

I understand the need to get to the yard. WE have also has so much rain and they say maybe more on the way. I wonder if I could get Lowe's to deliver what I need LOL

  5. Keeping away from others which includes the grandchildren will be hard at this moment but worth it as a way of survival. Who would have thought that we would be dealing with something like this in our lifetime. Keeping up with your exercising will help you make it through.
Stay Safe and Enjoy using up what you cook.

    It's about time.

  6. I can deal with the isolation better than my dog can. He misses my daughter and her family stopping by a lot. I do too, but poor Rocky doesn't understand.

  7. Im a hermit so it's not a problem to be spending my days just doing my thing alone. I did have to go do as few errands, but I stayed as far away as possible. Staying busy is the key to getting thru the quiet times so you're doing the right thing.

  8. Hi Sondra,

I guess that makes 2 of us. I have been finding lots to do. If we all keep busy and away from others then we can get through this.
