The Loss

I received and e-mail today letting me know that one of our Blogger friends Coffee With The  Hermit, Jim has passed away. I read Jim's blog for many years and Jim was the one who talked me into starting my blog. Jim was very special to me as he walked me through a very tough time. Jim my buddy R.I.P  you will be so missed. I kept in touch with Jim through e-mails after he stopped blogging.

I received my first vaccine today what a relief.

I have been doing lots of beading and maybe in a couple days I will share some pictures. Just not tonight

Good Night All

  7. Oh so sorry, I don't think I came across his blog, It's such a shame. Hope it was not Covid. I feel like I know all my blog buddies in some ways, it is a great slice of community, comradery, and friendship. Your beading sounds like fun . Look forward to the photos. TC

  8. Hi Sondra,
Thank You! No it wasn't Covid. I just know he had been sick for quite sometime and he never shared what it was and I respected his privacy. I just hope he didn't suffer to terribly.

I love the beading work it is so calming and all the colors are so uplifting. Today I didn't do any beading, I was working on some Easter projects with felt and hand sewing which is not much fun at all. But if I get to see my great grands I will give the items to them.

  9. RIP Jim! Sorry to hear about the loss of your friend. I'd heard of him. He will be resting peacefully now. Take care. Beading sounds like fun. I'm thinking about doing some macrame (I have not done it for 40 years!)
