First I am not camping as we had a terrible change in the weather. After 3 days of temps in the low 90's the high today was 76F. The wind started up around noon today and just became more fierce as the day went on. We had one good down pour so far and more rain is coming and is forecast to rain most of tomorrow with the high for the day 59F. Guess I'll just have to play it day by day. The truck is ready to roll and all I need to add is food and the last minute bag.
Now for blogger, I see the font size changes at whim and never stays the size you want and have to constantly reset, this new problem of font you don't see unless you go back after posting and see it. But the biggest problem are the losers who have started leaving comments. I have tried to get rid of this Sevan or what ever the fools name is 4 times from the last post and yes I clicked on delete forever and it comes right back again. I have reported it to blogger and they don't seem to care who gets on or how many complaints you send. I might look into the other posting place.

Here I thought that you were enjoying your first-night camping. I'm sorry it has gotten postponed but at least you will be able to go as soon as the weather permits.
ReplyDeleteTonight the alignment of my post changed but not the font though so many other things are all messed up like not letting me know when someone has left a comment.
To prevent spammers from posting I have had to limit "allowed posting time" to 24 hours so they can not post and it goes to "moderation" where then I delete it and it never appears on my blog.
Here is hoping you and Fred can soon go camping.

MsBelinda has it right about moderating your comments after whatever time you choose. (I set our's for Two Days). What you have to do is set them as Spam and let them set for a while. After repeating that process a few times Blogger will not allow them to grace your post.

Hi Jo, sorry about the weather is has been such a weird couple of weeks here too..I do the same thing Belinda describes I have mine set to allow comments for 2 days then after that they are sent to my email where I can post it or delete it...And the font thing has not been right since the forced the NeW blogger on us. I don't think there is a fix for it. And like you say it's free so they just don't care. NOW the New Flickr is going to change also they will only allow PUBLIC photos on free accounts so we cant keep some photos private...I have a lot of family photos online it's a place we can share our family photos,..NOW I have to go back and change all of that. I hope you get to blast off soon!

DeleteIt was a crazy 2 days of on and off pouring rain to a bit of sun then dark from heavy clouds, and cold. Today looks better. I guess I should add that to show posts in my email. I think my laptop is on its last leg as I have lost so many picture and I don't have flickr. This is sad as most of them are from my travel times. Haven't had a chance to see what else sure its lots of family and the grandkids and great grands. Weather for next week looks good but know I need a new roof and fast, but nobody has returned my calls.
Sorry to hear you didn't get to camp. Hopefully you can camp soon 😊 I know Blogger is a pain and it's difficult to get answers to problems 😥

I have never had that issue with font size (knock on wood) but like the others, our comments are set on moderation so I can weed out the spam before it hits the public.

After posting and I see that the font is messed up I go back in and fix it but this last time the spam thing annoyed me and I just left it alone. So I followed along with all of the others and now doing the moderation.
I too need to change my settings. I've not really been all that active here for awhile, and got a notification of s p ams. Let's hope this post doesn't incur any! I spaced it too just in case!

ReplyDeleteGood do see you again. You didn't cause a problem at all. The fool is still trying to leave comments so I just keep hitting spam pretty soon they will not longer be able to leave comments from what I'm told.
Yes one more draw back I need a new roof. :( seems like it never ends but it should be covered my ins. and my deductible.
